How To: Set up a Hyperfibre routerUpdated 3 years ago

If you do not already have a Hyperfibre fibre box (ONT) installed, a technician will visit your home to install one. You can connect your Hyperfibre router to the 10Gbps port on the fibre box (note the 10Gbps port is the black one closest to the blue USB ports).

The default settings for BYOD modems are:

Connection Type: PPPoE
VLAN: 10 *Some modems place the internet VLAN settings under a label like "IPTV", "Multi service", or "IPTV/VLAN Settings".
Username: [email protected] *You can set the username to any value, but it must be set to something.
Password: GetThereFaster *You can set the password to any value, but it must be set to something.

Please ensure your modem is configured with the above settings prior to your activation date. If you do not know how to configure or check these settings in your modem you can tell us the settings you would like us to use, e.g. DHCP instead of PPPoE, or you can subscribe for an Ethanet Router. Just contact Priority Support by logging into your My Account.

Unfortunately, we cannot help configuring your BYO modem for you.
